The Rent is Too Damn High – Jimmy McMillan & SIXT start a movement

I’m Jimmy McMillan. I represent the Rent is Too Damn High Party. I founded this party over 10 years ago because people were playing the silly game. But today… is a Big Day! a BIG day! …for our movement I’m here today to address the issues! People can’t afford to travel anyplace on the weekend. They are stuck at home. Why? BECAUSE “The Car Rent is too Damn High!” Car rent? Yes, car rental fees. Jimmy you’re changing this whole thing. It wasn’t about car rent. I’m not changing anything. You’re just not listening. No Jimmy, get outta here. Are you listening? Rent is too damn high My mustache and haircut is too damn fly I’m on a mission again to give the people my word Car rental ‘round here is too damn absurd Stop it, stop it! Now Jimmy, this is crazy. This is supposed to be a political party. Did you sell out? That’s what you think. Yeah We need Sixt to change the game The rent-a-car place to keep us sane. S-I-X-T now on the scene With car rental prices that aren’t obscene! ‘Cause Rent is too damn high I said the Rent is too damn high I’m Jimmy McMillan and here’s the key I’m riding with Sixt, come and ride with me Rent is too damn high I said the Rent is too damn high The Rent is too damn high I said the Rent. Any more questions?

  1. This is awful precedent for TYT. Cenk may say, "well a car rental company won’t affect our political coverage”, except ya, it could. If TYT becomes dependent on SixT money just like ALL the other corporate media does with their sponsors, that company has power and sway over what TYT reports. It's a nasty slope TYT is going down. When TYT needs that money to pay the bills, then they need that sponsor and can’t say no to that sponsor. Gross. Shame on Cenk and TYT. So disappointed!
