Hertz in 60 seconds – Where to drive in Orlando?

A car is essential for a visit to Orlando, as many of the attractions aren’t actually in the city. From downtown Orlando, head south on International Drive to the home of theme parks, where you’ll find; The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, Wet n’ Wild and, Universal Studios Florida. About 35 minutes out of town is Lake Buena Vista and Walt Disney World, probably the most famous theme park in the world. Keep going for another 30 miles and you’ll reach Winter Haven and Legoland Florida. Stay on Interstate Four for an hour and a half and you’ll end up at Tampa, where you can visit; Bush Gardens animal theme park and its sister waterpark Adventure Island. Head north on I-4 for about an hour and you’ll get to Daytona, the home of NASCAR. Here you can watch a race at the International Speedway, visit the historic boardwalk and pier or just soak up the sun on 23 miles of beautiful beaches. Take the Martin Andersen Beachline Expressway east and in around an hour and a half you’ll reach Cape Canaveral and the legendary Kennedy Space Centre. You’ll find museums, and guided tours of the launch facilities and if you’re lucky you could see an actual launch. Days out from Orlando, brought to you by Hertz
